Can Wood Shutters be used on Casement Windows? Yes. Outside Mount Shutters with a T-Crank or Folding-Crank work perfectly in this situation
Can Wood Shutters be used on Sliding Glass Doors? Yes. The fold would be: one panel left one right t-Post one panel right one left. Or a sliding Track can be used, however it my project out further in to the room.
What is the difference between inside mount and outside mount shutters? Inside Mount and Outside Mount refers to inside or outside of the window frame, or opening, inside the home. An Inside Mount is typically flush with the wall and dose not project in to the room. An Outside Mount is applied to the wall around the window opening and therefore projects in to the room. Outside Mounts are preferred for casement windows and other situations where space inside the window frame is limited. |
